How do I book a holiday villa at BONVIDA?

At the villa you first select a desired period of stay, the all-in rental price then appears directly. Via the button “Book now” you will continue to the reservation section. Here you can enter the number of people and any additional services you require. A step further you will come to the form for your personal information. You then click on “Place Reservation” and the reservation request will be sent. Read more

 

 

How do I see which holiday villas are still available?

In the calendar, you select an arrival & departure date. The website will show you the available holiday villas.

Please note: Arrival date can be on Saturday or Sunday, varies per villa. So search for both days!

I don’t want to book immediately. Can I take an option?

Of Course! We can put the villa in option for you that you have the certainty that the villa will not be rented to someone else.
Please contact usdirectly for this and let us know which villa & period is involved.

Do I have to rent at least 1 week? May 10 days also?

Our villas are always rented out per week during the high season. (7 nights), the minimum rental period is 1 week.
We do offer packages for different periods, these are clearly stated for each villa. Different rental periods are also possible in the early and late season.

For example, do you want to rent 10 or 12 days? Please do not hesitate to contact us.

The number of people is not yet known. Can I pass that on later?

Yes, you can send us the number of people later. (up to 1 week before arrival)

Where can I find the total rental price?

First select an arrival and departure date in the calendar next to the villa. The total all-rental price will be shown immediately.

What are the additional costs?

There are no hidden or additional costs. The rental price shown on the website is always an all-in price. Items such as cleaning, linen and reservation costs are included. Read more

Are energy costs included?

Yes, gas, water and electricity costs are included. (except for heating costs in winter)

Does a baby count as a traveling person or on top of the number of (adult) people?

When specifying the number of people, you must select babies (up to 2 years old) separately, they then count on top of the travel party. It is possible that 1 or 2 babies are allowed on top of the maximum number of people. This is clearly stated in the form.

Please note that no linen is left for babies, and no bed is made. If desired, you can book a cot and / or high chair. Read more

How can I be sure that my booking has been successful?

Immediately after you have booked you will receive an e-mail from us with the confirmation of the booking. The reservation is then successful and pending.

What happens after I have booked?

Upon receipt of your reservation request we check the details and we process your booking in our records. If everything is in order we confirm your reservation with a booking agreement, which we will send to you immediately (by e-mail). Your reservation is now approved.

When do I receive the rental agreement?

You will receive a reservation agreement from us, which will be sent to you immediately after your booking has been approved. You can consider these as your rental agreement.

Can I receive the address of the holiday villa?

The address details of the rented holiday villa are in the reservation agreement which we send you after approval of your booking.

How long or short in advance can I make a reservation?

You can book for available periods for which the price has been entered. Do you want information for the next season?

I want to hibernate, can I rent the villa for longer periods?

Most of our villas meet the requirements for permanent residence, and can be rented for a longer period in the late season. Read more

I am taking a dog with me, do I have to take anything into account?

Note: Are you bringing a pet? Do not forget to indicate this when booking.

How much is the down payment?

The 1st down payment is approx. 35% of the all-in rental price (payment within 7 days after reservation)
The 2nd down payment is approximately 35% of the all-in rental price. (payment no later than 8 weeks before arrival)
The 3rd down payment is approximately 30% of the all-in rental price. (payment arrival)

Note: If you book within 8 weeks before arrival, the 1st and 2nd deposit will be paid at the same time, the 3rd payment will only be on arrival.

The exact amounts, payment dates and bank details are stated on your reservation agreement.

Can I also pay in installments?

Is the first and / or second term not convenient for you? We are flexible and can agree an additional payment term with you. Please contact us for this.

What payment options are there?

The down payments go by bank transfer.
Payments on arrival can be made in cash or by bank card.

Can I also pay everything in advance?

Yes that is possible. Please contact us for this.

Can I pay the booking entirely on location?

No, you always pay the first and second installments by bank.
You can pay the final installment and the deposit upon arrival.

To which account can I transfer the deposit?

Our bank details are stated in the reservation agreement, which you receive immediately after approval of the booking.

Has my payment been received correctly?

After we receive your payment we will send you a confirmation of receipt by email.

My payment does not arrive on time. What should I do?

After booking you must pay the deposit within 7 days.
Is this not possible? Then contact us immediately.

Why do I receive a reminder when I have already paid?

It may be that your payment was not yet visible when the reminder was sent. You can then regard the reminder as not sent.

I have paid more than stated on the lease. What should I do?

We always check payments received, so in this case we refund the overpaid amount. Tip: Give your booking number as a payment reference.

How does payment go on arrival?

You pay the final installment on arrival. This can be by pin or in cash.
Note: The deposit can only be paid by pin (debit or crdit)

How much is the deposit and when do I pay it?

The amount of the deposit depends on the villa, but as a rule it is 500 euros. The amount is stated when booking. The payment of the deposit is always only on arrival, and this can only be paid by pin. (debit or credit)

When will I get the deposit back?

After your departure the villa will be checked, if everything is in order the deposit will be refunded quickly.

Where do I collect the keys?

We hand over the keys personally.
On the day of arrival you are expected at our office or directly at the rented holiday villa. (exact location is on the reservation agreement)

From what time can I check in and out?

Check in: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Check-out: before 10 A.M.

Can I arrive / depart at a different time?

Yes, this is sometimes possible. Please contact us for this

Ich habe eine Verspätung, was soll ich tun?

If you already know that you will arrive later, let us know in time, we can take it into account. In the event of unforeseen delays: contact us immediately!

I am traveling with a baby. Is there a baby bed and high chair available?

You can book a baby bed and / or high chair in advance. On arrival this is ready for you in the villa. Read more

What does the linen consist of?

Bed linen: bottom sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase.
Bath linen: large & small towel, guest towel, bath mat. (first toilet paper also present)
Kitchen linen: tea towels and kitchen towel.

Are you staying longer than 1 week? We change the linen weekly, without extra costs!

Is there a washing machine in the villa?

Yes, a washing machine is available in all our villas.

Is the villa being cleaned or do I have to do this myself?

On arrival you will find a clean villa, after departure we will clean the villa for the next guest. Are you staying longer than 1 week? We clean weekly, without extra costs!

Are beach towels provided?

Beach towels are not part of our standard linen package. You can book these separately, they will be ready for you upon arrival. Read more

Can I receive visitors in the holiday villa?

Of course! Staying overnight is only permitted on request, and additional costs may be charged.

The villa was not rented after us. Can we stay a day longer?

Yes, that may be possible. Please contact us for this.

Who is responsible for any damage?

The person causing the damage is responsible for the damage.Read our terms and conditions.

Who do I call in case of an emergency?

We are your direct contact on vacation, we are located on site.
In an emergency we are available 24/7.

How long is the flight to Costa Brava?

The flight to the Costa Brava takes a maximum of 2 hours. Read more

Where is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Girona, around 45 minutes from the villas. But the airports of Barcelona or Perpignan are also nearby. Read more

I travel by plane. Do I need a rental car?

We strongly recommend private transportation! The villas are centrally located but not everything is within walking distance, a car is very handy. Read more

Can I rent a car at BONVIDA?

No BONVIDA does not rent cars.
You can easily reserve a car online, it will be ready at the airport. Read more

Is public transportation in Spain well organized?

Yes, there are good bus connections and a train station is a short distance away. For each villa, the distance to, for example, the train and bus station is stated.

How can I cancel my booking?

Are you forced to cancel your booking due to circumstances? Then contact us directly by telephone or e-mail.

What do I have to pay if I decide to cancel?

There are costs associated with a cancellation. Amounts paid will never be refunded. If you have taken out cancellation insurance, these costs are covered by the insurance.

Am I obliged to take out travel or cancellation insurance?

You are not obliged to do so, but we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance as well as valid liability and travel insurance. Even with a last minute booking. You must take out insurance through your own insurance agent.
