Much more than just a restaurant
Mas Gusó is one of those places where you don't just go to eat. The beautiful old mas of the Gusó family is located in the greenery near Sant Pere Pescador, close to the sea and the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà nature park.
Here you will find a restaurant, a special wine shop, the Mas Gusó Market, and the atmospheric miraGe. Everything is situated around the historic farmhouse from 1564 and is surrounded by gardens, terraces, and lots of greenery. The location alone makes a visit special.
Restaurant Mas Gusó
The restaurant focuses on Mediterranean dishes and beautiful local products. You can eat inside, but what makes Mas Gusó particularly special are the various terraces amidst the greenery.
You can sit by the old farmhouse, under the huge two-hundred-year-old plane tree, by the vertical garden, or towards the lake and gardens. For those who want to dine extensively, there is also a Menú del Chef.
It's certainly not the cheapest place in the area, but for us, Mas Gusó is mainly a place where the location, atmosphere, and gastronomy together provide a special experience.
miraGe: cocktails, wine & tapas
miraGe is a wonderful spot within Mas Gusó to linger a bit longer. You can enjoy a good glass of wine, cocktails, and tapas, but also coffee or a treat.
Especially in the evening, there's a delightful atmosphere on the terrace. Enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine, order some tasty dishes, and just relax. In the summer, there's often live music.
Wine Shop & Market
Even if you're not coming to eat, it's nice to pop into the Wine Shop and Market. In the wine shop, you will find an extensive selection of wines, champagnes, and other special drinks.
The Market still refers to the origins of Mas Gusó. The family used to grow fruit on the lands around the farmhouse and began selling their fruit directly to consumers in the early eighties. Nowadays, you will find a fine selection of local and Mediterranean products.
Our tip
Don't just go to Mas Gusó for a quick meal, but make it an afternoon or evening. Start, for example, with a drink at miraGe, take a stroll around the grounds, and then enjoy an extensive meal on one of the terraces.
Especially in the summer, it's wise to make a reservation for the restaurant in advance.

Is booking with BONVIDA reliable?

How do I book a holiday villa with BONVIDA?
Have you found a holiday villa that suits you? Then you can easily and securely reserve it online via our website. The availability in our calendar is always up-to-date, so you can immediately see if your favorite villa is still available for the desired period.
After placing your reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation by email. This way, you know that your reservation has been successfully received by us.
We will then personally check your reservation. After that, you will receive the final booking confirmation from us, including all the details of your stay, payment information, and further practical information.

How much do I need to pay in advance?
After your reservation, you will first receive your booking confirmation from us. Then you pay the rental amount in three parts, so you don't have to pay the entire amount in advance at once.
- Within 7 days of your reservation: approximately 30 to 35% of the rental amount.
- No later than 8 weeks before arrival: again approximately 30 to 35% of the rental amount.
- Upon arrival: the remaining amount.
You pay the first and second deposit by bank transfer. The last part is paid upon arrival and can be done by card or cash.
The exact amounts and payment dates are always clearly stated on your booking confirmation. This way, you know exactly what to expect from the moment of booking.

Who will welcome me in Spain?
Upon arrival, you will be personally welcomed by us. No key box or unknown intermediary, just a personal welcome as soon as you arrive in Spain.
The key handover usually takes place at our holiday office in Empuriabrava. There we welcome you, provide you with the keys, and give you all the information you need for a great start to your holiday.
During your stay, we remain your direct point of contact. Do you have a question, is there an issue with the villa, or do you need help with something? You can contact us directly.
We live and work permanently all year round on the Costa Brava, close to your holiday villa. This way, we are always nearby when you need us.
